Basics of Mitral Stenosis

This is doctor Julie huffed Meyer with our opening anesthesia intra operative T. E. E. case of the month for July 2014. Each month we feature inoperative case which teachers are emphasizes an important aspect of basic entropic of T. E.. Our patient this month has a history of diastolic heart failure systemic hypertension pulmonary hypertension chronic kidney disease and atrial fibrillation uncommitted. Our vision also has known mitral stenosis with significant mitral annular calcification and was admitted to the hospital with heart failure and volume overload. She was treated with diuretics for fluid status optimization and bridge to the day of surgery with pepper infusion for her history initial from relation. She presents for mitral valve replacement.
