Our patient this month is a 59 year old man with a history of bicuspid aortic valve that was repaired 10 years ago with the Ross procedure. His past medical history also includes hypertension hyperlipidemia and obstructive sleep apnea. He complains of worsening dyspnea on exertion and increasing lower extremity edema requiring increasing diabetic dosage and multiple hospital misapplied missions for mild congestive heart failure.
