Understanding Why Mothers Die: Benefits and Challenges of the Systemic Study of Maternal Mortality with Michael Richardson

Hello fellas and colleagues I Michael Richardson associate professor of anesthesiology and the OB anesthesiology Trisha program director Vanderbilt in Nashville. I managed by the option 80 percent the session focused on the study maternal mortality. I chose the title. To underscore the need to truly understand why a mother dies whenever there's maternal mortality. Without reaching a full understanding it's very difficult to devise implement changes to reduce the risk that a similar event in the future. Maternal deaths are very rare thankfully. But they typically include several contributing factors conditions misdiagnoses. Our mission is incorrect treatments and systems and communications breakdowns.
