There was some good news on Friday – 4 million Pfizer doses are being brought forward - under a vaccine swap with the UK. They're desperately needed by those anxiously waiting for a jab – and by the Prime Minister who's been punished for failing to secure more supplies earlier. In the lockdown states - it's now well and truly a race to get jabs in arms faster than the virus can spread. Victoria buried the idea of getting back to zero-COVID - while Queensland and Western Australia hardened their resolve to keep borders shut. The states are on very different tracks.
