Staying Healthy and Fit as an Occupational Therapist

Self-care is one of the most important things as a healthcare professional. Today I touch on staying in good physical condition as an Occupational Therapist. Throughout the day we are constantly on our feet, performing transfers, performing lifts, and other acts that can be seen as strenuous. If we do not stay in good physical shape we are bound to switch places with our clients and possibly become the patient. Here is what I do to stay in shape.
