Persons with disabilities are more likely than others to experience adverse socioeconomic, such as less education, poorer health, fewer employment opportunities, and higher poverty rates. To end poverty and boost shared prosperity, we must leave no one behind. At the World Bank, we’re working to build inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities for all by breaking down barriers to full social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities.
