2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime Full Review- The Electric SUV That’s Easy To Live With

published 9 months ago by Tom Voelk

America loves SUVs and crossovers, but oddly, there are few mainstream electrified models out there. The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime rectifies that. And there’s NO range anxiety at all. It’s all the electric you need. Charge Prime up and there’s 42 miles of all-electric range on tap. After that, a gas engine takes over for 600 miles of total range. It’s like a Chevy Volt (only Toyota seems to backing the Prime up with some marketing). Tom Voelk spent a couple days testing the RAV4 Prime and gives a full debrief on how the system works.
