After more than five years leading Toronto Police Service and confronting gun violence, terrorist attacks, and even a serial killer, Chief Mark Saunders is leaving his post. The first Black police chief in Toronto, his departure comes as law enforcement is facing accusations of violence, systemic racism and demands to reform.
