The LS sedan was the first Lexus built from the ground up to be a Lexus. 30 years and five generations later it still coddles its owners. And unlike the first one, it can now be had with a “multi stage” hybrid powertrain. Does this tech make for a better luxury sedan? Tom Voelk drives the slightly updated 2020 LS500h AWD, which means it has the hybrid system instead of the twin-turbo V6 and all of the wheels are driven (it’s also available with rear-wheel drive).
