Media today is everywhere, online, on TV, radio, podcasts, even in elevators. That leaves it open to many critics; some bash media outlets and reporters for being elitist, while others bemoan the so-called click bait, dumbing-down of the news. Joining The Agenda to reflect on whether there's a widening gap between the press and the public are Suanne Kelman, professor emeritus of the Ryerson School of Journalism; and Chris Waddell, of Carleton University's School of Journalism and Communication.
