They couldn’t get anything going in the air or on the ground. Dak Prescott finished 22/33 for 223 yards before he threw an interception on a hail mary attempt on the final play of the game. Ezekiel Elliott had 35 yards on the ground on 18 attempts, an average of 1.9 yards per carry which is the 2nd worst in a game in his career. The Cowboys’ defense played well & didn’t allow a touchdown in the game, but the lack of offensive production resulted in the Cowboys’ first loss of the 2019 NFL season. Robert Quinn had a monster night, racking up 2 sacks which would have been 3 if it wasn’t for a penalty. Leighton Vander Esch was all over the place with 11 tackles on defense. Chidobe Awuzie got an interception early in the game, but none of this was enough for the Cowboys to seal a victory against a New Orleans Saints team that was without Drew Brees.
