Listening: The Greatest Tool We Have

Despite all the therapeutic tools, evaluations, assessments, tricks of the trade, and know-how we have, it is always best to get insight straight from the source. Sometimes, it is simply best to understand how students, patients, and clients feel. We must remember that their perception is their reality, our clinical and teaching tools may not highlight this, but it is definitely something we must consider when writing occupational therapy goals or goals for the I.E.P.
