Musicians are among the hardest-hit by digital disruption; online streaming and the freemium model have meant lower income. Blockbuster musicians have survived just fine, but what about session players, or songwriters-artists who can't fill arenas, but in the past would have made a living with radio play and gigs at clubs across the country? Nam Kiwanuka talks to professional fiddle player and entrepreneur Miranda Mulholland about how musicians are coping with digital disruption.
