This is doctor Julie Huff Meyer with our opening anesthesia intra operative T. E. case of the month for December 2015. Each month we feature an operative case which teaches or emphasizes an important aspect of basic entropic of T. E.. Our patient this month is a 60 year old man with hypertension and diabetes mellitus who was admitted for chest pain with the non S. T. wave myocardial infarction. On work up his cardiac catheterization revealed multi vessel coronary artery disease with an 80 percent left anterior descending 85 percent right coronary and 75 percent circumflex artery occlusion. His transfer Asok echocardiogram showed low normal left ventricular function with an ejection fraction of 50 percent with normal right ventricular function mild mitral regurgitation and otherwise normal valvular function.
